Emily Louise Howard is the hands, head and heart behind The Diggingest Girl, a printmaking + illustration + crafts studio in Erlanger, KY.
Identifying as an artist from the tender age of seven, Emily studied fine art at the University of Kentucky, receiving a B.F.A. in painting. Emily achieved an M.F.A. from the University of Cincinnati, studying Native American Literature, printmaking and sculpture as part of her Master's thesis, also earning a Master of Art Education with K-12 licensure.
Emily lives in a little house at the edge of the woods that inspire her so. She runs her business out of her home studio with her cat, Selu.
